Makenna Murphy Assistant Coach

Makenna Murphy is a junior at Falls Church High School. She has been a member at Annandale Swim and Tennis for fourteen years and has been on the swim team for the past eight years. Her coaching experience includes being a CIT and junior assistant coach. When she’s not coaching, you’ll probably see her working as a lifeguard or giving swim lessons. She also enjoys playing high school sports such as swim, soccer and cross country, along with spending time with her friends. She’s very much looking forward to the upcoming swim season.

Junior Assistant Coaches and Coaches-In-Training

Are you interested in coaching?  Starting off as a Junior Assistant Coach or Coach-In-Training gives our swimmers an opportunity to work alongside our coaches and learn what it takes to be a coach.  Please email Annie and Dani at [email protected]. for an application! Once you fill it out, please email it back by May 7, 2025.

We, as a team, cannot make it through the season without effective communication all around.  We know that there will be new families and families that do not speak English as their primary language – please do not allow this to stop you from speaking to the Coaches and Team Reps.  Veteran parents please help to introduce new parents or families that speak other languages to the Coaches and Team Reps, and help to ensure that the communication lines are open.
