    Sportsmanship

All families sign the Code of Conduct when they register for the swim team.  All parents and swimmers are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct during all meets and events.  The Code of Conduct and good sportsmanship applies to our team cheers, swimmers' body art, and posters.  As a team and as individuals, let's lead by example!

    Safety

Safety is of high importance not just at our pool but at all pools we visit.  Please encourage your swimmer to follow all pool rules posted.

    • At our pool one important rule is to stay off the bulkhead – the wall between the transition and big pools.  The only time a swimmer is allowed on the bulkhead is when they are directed by a coach, team rep, or deck official.
    • Do not climb over fences.
    • Do not run.  It gets very slippery on deck and in the grassy areas, particularly when the ground gets wet.
    • Some swimmers do ride bikes to and from the pool for practice and meets.  Please be aware when driving through the parking lot.

    Contacts

We, as a team, cannot make it through the season without effective communication all around.  We know that there will be new families and families that do not speak English as their primary language – please do not allow this to stop you from speaking to the Coaches and Team Reps.  Veteran parents please help to introduce new parents or families that speak other languages to the Coaches and Team Reps, and help to ensure that the communication lines are open.
